Joyce McWherter

As the Patent Manager in the Office of Licensing and Ventures, Ms. McWherter manages the pursuit of patents for all disclosed University inventions and coordinates all administrative aspects of patent protection, maintenance and defense.  She works with administrators, associate directors, innovators, patent attorneys and others to ensure legal compliance in patenting and protecting the University's intellectual property.
