Office of Licensing & Ventures
At the Office of Licensing & Ventures George Yachán is responsible for relational database analysis and design; software application design and development; and business process modeling and analysis.
George has a 15 year background as an independent IT consultant in the RTP area. His areas of expertise are relational database architecture and the design of custom software systems developed to manage complex commercial and scientific workflows.
Yachán also has an extensive finance background in foreign credit markets and commercial banking gained while living and working in Latin America for 14 years.
George received his MBA in Finance, as well as a BA in Economics, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
