Our goal at OLV is to find a partner who has the interest and ability ($ and other resources) to develop your ideas to where they can impact people.  We do “market assessments” to figure out what ideas are most likely to find partners and put our resources on those ideas.  Maximizing the impact of Duke ideas is the driving force behind the Licensing & Ventures operation.  We look forward to working with you!

• Disclosure Forms
  File an invention disclosure form (IDF) to formally disclose your invention to our office and intiate the process of managing your invention.

  The OLV process includes ongoing networking with Duke researcher and potential investors, relationship building and education, innovation mining, assessment of invention disclousures, legal/intellectual property support, marketing, and transactions.
