Showcasing Innovation & Entrepreneurship: This annual networking event is an opportunity for researchers to present their innovations to members of the venture capital and business communities as well as to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration.

3rd Invented@Duke

Celebrating its 3rd year, “Invented at Duke” showcased 13 companies and early technologies from across campus illustrating how Duke is leading the way in transferring innovations to society.  This year, 350 students, faculty, staff, alumni, investors, and members of the local community came to see how Duke is translating research into impactful innovations.

2nd Invented@Duke

Riding on the success of the first “Invented at Duke” event last October, companies such as Carpe Lotion, Cereius, and 374Water show how Duke is not only leading the way in transferring innovations to society but is also providing valuable contributions to the economic vitality of the surrounding community.

A puncture-proof vascular graft, silicone microspheres, improved eye disease imaging, a pocket-sized colposcope, improved hernia solutions, a platform for predictive surgical complication risks, and an infant IV vest—Duke’s cutting-edge innovations were out in force at our 1st Invented at Duke Celebration.
