Value Proposition

Spatial cues in multi-media audio are necessary for a realistic and immersive experience. While in the past this has been achieved with surround sound audio systems designed for cinemas and home theater setups, virtual and augmented reality (VR / AR) bring new demands to spatial audio systems which must have much more compact form factors. The ability to mimic speakers attached to arbitrary objects in physical space all heard through a users headset is a huge advancement in immersive audio for augmented reality applications.


This technology allows media designers to generate spatial audio compositions using a simple software application. The end-user then experiences “virtual” sound sources as configured by the designer, enhancing the augmented reality experience through immersive audio.
